What a fantastic Big Play it was! There are some fabulous comments on our facebook page and through the email coming through, I’m so pleased you all enjoyed it. Thanks to all the people who helped on the day and to the conductors for their hard work. Vickie Thompson has kindly shared here recipe for the ‘Gooey Lemon Bars’ as so many of you asked her for the recipe, you can download it here!

Schumann Cello Concerto Study Day with Mark Edwards and Daniel Crompton

We are looking for many more (particularly strings) players for this event, please do let me know if you’re planning on coming along. It’s a really fabulous work so don’t miss out on hearing it played by Daniel and working with Mark. You can look at the music in advance by clicking the link here.
Clarinettists, please bring your A clarinets. Trumpets, we have a transposed second part in Bb if you need. It would be great to see you there at a new venue of ours!

Mahler Symphony No. 1 Study Day with Andy Jackson

As this is an event at Sage Gateshead, you need to purchase a ticket from their box office by calling 0191 443 4661 or by heading their in person. Please do however let me know that you’ve booked/going to book as we really need to know which parts and how many to bring.
