Cobweb News 08: 09.03.16

Dear all,
Congratulations to all those who had a really good go at Mahler’s Symphony No.1 at Sage Gateshead last Saturday. I thought you all did a marvellous job and it was great to see so many of you brave such a challenging work! Thanks to Andy for being such a patient expert leading us through the day.

Last chance to sign up! Don’t miss the chance to work with Royal Northern Sinfonia musicians Iona Brown and Nick Byrne as well as expert conductor Richard Howarth. There will be a shared lunch at this event so please do feel free to contribute. There’s room for more in all sections, particularly woodwind and brass so please do let me know if you’re planning to go.

Summer Term
Next terms events are all now on the website! We still have some fine details to put in, but please do make notes of the dates and we’ll be starting the enrolments from next week.
Billingham End of Term
Billingham Cobweb Orchestra is having an end of term play through of this term’s music on Monday 14th March. The event is open to all Cobweb players so please feel free to join in. There’s a rehearsal at 7pm and the play through will start at 7.45pm, followed by refreshments.
