Do you know any music teachers?
Maybe you take lessons yourself, or know people who do, or just happen to live next door to a music teacher.
Cobwebs is trying to compile a list of instrumental teachers so that we can let them know what we offer. Then, when there is something that might be particularly suitable for their students, they can encourage players to come along and join us.
This is particularly important in the next few months as, in September, we are starting up a new group which will be specifically for beginners. We want to make orchestral playing available to people who find what our 8 weekly groups do a bit too daunting.
There will be more news about the new group (when, where, who, how it will operate, etc.) over the following weeks, but, for now, we want to concentrate on being able to let as many people as possible know about it, so, if you have names and e-mail addresses for music teachers and/or potential players, please let us have their details (ask them first if it is alright to hand on their details).
Send to Lorna Wright ( );
That’s all for this week, do get the Summer dates in your diary and enrol for events soon!
Best wishes,
Event Co-ordinator, Cobweb Orchestra
