Big Play 2019
Saturday 2nd March
Dipton Jubilee Centre, Front Street, Dipton, Co. Durham, DH9 9DR
10-6pm
Pay What You Think It’s Worth

Apologies for not printing the date in the previous Cobweb News. Loads of you have signed up so far but we can still take many more players! Let us know you’re coming so we know how much music to provide.

Join us for our annual Big Play, a chance for all groups to come together and share repertoire on a common theme. This year’s fantastic programme is filling out nicely with all sorts of imaginative interpretations of the theme “Cities”, including
Prague, Vienna, Oxford, New York, Paris, Naples, Plymouth, Seville, Kiev, Rio. The pieces might not be always the most obvious…

It’s a Pay What You Think It’s Worth event, so no advance payments, just bring along your pennies (and notes!).

All music will be provided on the day, but please bring a music stand

We’ll be enjoying a shared lunch, please feel free to contribute, adhering to the guidelines set out here: https://cobweborchestra.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/Food-hygiene-at-Cobweb-events-1.pdf

It’s really important you let us know you’re coming so we have enough music for you all.

Fund-raising at the Big Play New Music for Old!
Dear All At this year’s Big Play we will be running a second hand book and music stall. We hope to raise a good sum to enable us to refresh the stock of music in the library, so please have a think about whatever books and music you could bear to part with and bring it along. It’s all for a good cause!
Thanks
