Dear all,
Well done to all those who played at the Appleby concert last week and especially to those in the Baroque group, I thought that it sounded fantastic.

Cobweb Chamber Orchestra in Concert
St. Peter’s Chapel, Auckland Castle, Bishop Auckland, DL14 7NR
Come along to support the Cobweb Chamber Orchestra in their Summer concert at the beautiful Auckland Castle. The price of the ticket includes the cost of entering the castle The programme includes the first performance of an orchestral version Allegri’s Miserere, written especially for the venue! It’s a lovely way to spend a summer’s evening so do join us! A poster is with more information is available on the event webpage.

Billingam Cobwebs End of term concert

Billingham end of term concert is on July 6th at the usual venue. Everyone is welcome to join in, final rehearsal at 7pm and concert at 7.45pm followed by refreshments.
Monday 13th July

The Teesside Cobwebs Group are having a garden party (or house party if it’s wet)
on July 13th from 6.30pm onwards at 48 South Road, Norton, Stockton, TS20 2SZ.
Admission free, but there will be a bucket for contributions.There’ll be tea and coffee, and a ‘bring and buy’ cake stall.
this is a chance to perform your solo or small ensemble piece to a sympathetic audience replete with cake. There will be spaces in the garden and house in which you can play but they are small scale – so if you’re thinking of the big band number, think again……. but smaller scale, yes please!
Parking; you can park in the road but please remember that we have to live here the week after and park considerately.
We hope that some of you from other groups will come too. It’s nice to find time to chat with people you haven’t seen for a awhile.

Join us in the beautiful surroundings of Seaton Delaval Hall for a afternoon performance to the public. We will be playing English Baroque music to suit the surroundings, final programme to be confirmed.
Cobweb Orchestra standard concert dress will apply; black bottoms, white shirt/blouse and waistcoat and/or neckwear.
Please don’t forget a music stand (and some pegs!)
