Dear all,
Congratulations to the Cobweb Chamber Orchestra on their fantastic concert last weekend at the beautiful Auckland Castle. I’ve attached a photo that was in the facebook group. They even got a mention on Radio 3! If you missed it, have a listen here:

Rehearsal 11-1pm
Concert 2-4pm
Participation Fee:
Members £8
Non Members £11
We are still looking for players in the majority of sections for this concert – particularly cellos would you believe?!
We’re offering you a great deal with this one – as it’s actually normally £6 to get into the hall and grounds anyway, which is included in your participation fee.
It’s set up to be a lovely afternoon for us performing English Baroque music to suit the beautiful surroundings. If you’ve never been to the hall, have a look at it here: http://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/seaton-delaval-hall/visitor-information/
Cobweb Orchestra standard concert dress will apply; black bottoms, white shirt/blouse and waistcoat and/or neckwear.
Please don’t forget a music stand (and some pegs!)
The enrolment form is available on the event webpage.
That’s all for now, there’s more events to enrol for over the Summer – please do have a look at the website for more info for now.
I hope you all have/had a good end of term with your groups,
Best wishes,
Lorna
