**A message from Anita about Ridley Hall Residential**
Hi, thanks to everyone who has signed up for the Ridley Hall weekend despite the catering side becoming a little more D I Y than usual. The good news is that we can still run the weekend and so far we have a good orchestra already in place. If you are thinking of signing up, there are still places available particularly in upper strings and brass. If you wish to come but your section is fully subscribed maybe you could bring a second instrument if you play one.
To find out more details please contact Anita Arris at

And finally:
Opportunity for Cobweb Ensemble
We’ve had a request at very short notice, for an ensemble to play half a concert next Friday (16th October) at Blackhall Community Centre (out on the Durham coast). It’s a 7.30pm start and the other half is 3 singing vicars.
If anyone feels they can help out, the contact is Sally Dixon on 07770267796. Please get in touch with her directly.
There is money available to pay expenses and a donation to orchestra funds.

That’s all from me this week, I look forward to seeing many of you at the Mendelssohn event next weekend.
Best wishes,
Event Co-ordinator, Cobweb Orchestra
