Cobweb News 25 – 2013

Dear All,
We’ve had two very different but equally successful events since the last Cobweb News. 29th June saw us at Langdon Beck for our final prom concert. We had a great rehearsal followed by a super performance in our marquee, with a stunning view. Last weekend 28 of us gathered at Blackton Grange, an idyllic converted farmhouse in Teesdale, for the Chamber Orchestra Residential. We played fantastic music morning, noon and night, ate well, drank well, slept little and basically had a ball.
Coming up . . .
Monday 15th July – Teesside Group “Not a Concert”
St Aidans Church, Billingham

Normal rehearsal fees apply. No concert dress, just comfortable clothing. There will be refreshments after the performance. Free entry for the audience.
If you are able to spare a couple of hours on Monday to support the Teesside group please email Clare contactclarecarr@yahoo.co.uk so that she knows who to expect and can make sure there are enough parts for everyone.
