Haydn Symphonies Project part 11 – this weekend!
Sunday 28th April
Summerhill Pavillion, Winchester Terrace, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE4 6EH

Members £12.50
Non Members £17**Oboes/Clarinets (Bb parts provided), Trumpets & Bassoonists needed!**

Message from Peter Wood:
We have now looked at 55 symphonies and this session I am hoping to look at the following symphonies – 41, 48 (Maria Theresia), 50, 56, 60 (Il Distratto) and 69.  These symphonies are all for a slightly larger orchestra and in addition to the strings, oboes and horns which have been the core of most of the symphonies we have looked at to date, these symphonies also have parts for trumpets, timps and bassoons (69 has 2 bassoon parts!).  As usual flutes and clarinets are welcome to join us and oboe parts transposed for Bb clarinets will be available. The preparation of parts for this project is time consuming and it would be appreciated if enrolment forms could be returned as soon as possible to know how many parts to prepare and to give time to fill any holes in the orchestra.
