Events coming up . . .
Saturday 14th September – The Cobweb Orchestra AGM & Brahms Symphony No. 3
Dipton Community Centre, 2.00 – 6.00pm

We have a super little orchestra so far, but it needs to grow much bigger! We also need you to be there for the AGM in order to be quorate. And it will be such a treat playing the great Brahms 3rd Symphony with Jon Brigg (our York Cobweb Orchestra conductor). Please do sign up if you can make it.
More details about this event can be found on the event webpage
The 2 Concerts this autumn . . .
Both concerts have, so far, enrolled well but there are some gaps that we’d love to fill.
Saturday 28th September – Trinity Church, Ashington, Northumberland
Rehearsal: 2.00 – 6.00pm
Concert: 7.30pm

We have space for violins, cellos, double basses, flutes, bassoons, trumpets, trombones and timps/percussion. More information about this concert, and the enrolment form can be found on the website.
Sunday 17th November – Hall 2, Sage Gateshead
Rehearsal: 1.30 – 5.30pm

We have space for a few more strings (all sections). The woodwind and horns are full, but we could do with one more trumpet, one more trombone and a tuba. More information about this concert, and the enrolment form can be found on the website.
The Ridley Hall “DIY” Residential
Saturday 30th November & Sunday 1st December
Ridley Hall, Hexham, Northumberland
10.00am (Sat) – 4.00pm (Sun)

Please see the event webpage for details of this very popular residential; I’ve already got a list of a few people who want to attend. To secure a place, do send your deposit form and deposit to me by Friday 13th September.
That’s enough information for this week.
Happy playing.
