Cobweb News 6: 07.02.17

Dear all,
In this weeks Cobweb News:
– The Big Play – this Saturday!
– Library Day
– A Day at Opera

The Big Play
Saturday 11th February 10-6pm
Dipton Community Centre, Dipton, DH9 9DR
What a great turnout we have lined for the day, thank you to all those who’ve said they’re coming. You haven’t missed your chance though, even more are welcome – just please let me know in advance!
Don’t forget your music stand and a contribution to the shared meal, it will be a big one. On that, are there any volunteers that will help to man the lunch? Just making sure everything is there, and tidy?
This is our biggest fundraising event of the year, so please bring along your cash. It’s “Pay what you think it’s worth”, which means just that. If you don’t think it’s worth anything, you don’t have to pay a penny, but just so that you have some guidelines, should you feel inclined to contribute, we’ll be doing around 6 hours of playing, which is equivalent to 3 weekly rehearsals. That’s £13.50 for members or £18 for non-members.
We look forward to seeing all of you there, it’s going to be a brilliant day.

Library Day
Sunday 19th February, 11-4pm
Eldon Community Centre, Main Rd, Eldon, Bishop Auckland DL14 8XB
Pay What You Think its Worth
Join the Library Team for another good rummage through the Cobweb Library playing things you never knew we had! This is a really relaxed and fun event to be a part of, and works best with the bigger numbers!
Refreshments will be on sale at the Eldon Community Centre – so no need to bring your own unless you especially want to.
Please do let me know in advance if you’re coming along. Enrolment form is available on the event webpage.
