We are delighted to be able to host our first live event on Sunday 23 May, 2-6pm in Dipton. On the basis of a full risk assessment, very strict procedures will be in place to ensure that the event is safe. Participants must commit to reading and adhering to a checklist of rules that will be provided in advance.

We know you will understand that we need to run this at a limited capacity, and we will be looking for a balanced orchestra – so please sign up early. Once we know the event is viable, you will be emailed to confirm that you either have or do not have a place at the event. Please therefore only transfer payment once you have had a place confirmed.

In order to attend, you’ll need to download and print your own parts. More instructions on how to do that will be sent after you have been confirmed as having a place. We’ll be looking at the following:

Rossini Overture to “The Thieving Magpie”

Schubert Symphony no 9 in C Major “The Great”

Brahms arr. Dvorak Hungarian Dances nos. 17-21

Remember to bring your own refreshments, as there will be no sharing facilities.

£12/15 (members/non-members)

Attending the event costs £12 (members) or £15 (non-members) and you can make a BACS payment using the following details: A/C: 65560297 Sort Code: 08-92-99 Reference: “DIPTON/your surname”.

If you need to send a cheque, please do send this addressed to ‘The Cobweb Orchestra’ to 5 Valeside, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE15 9LA

Please do not bring cash on the day if at all possible.
