A COBWEB EVENT IN HOVE, NEAR BRIGHTON

(Coinciding with the 24th anniversary of the start of Cobwebs!)

Many Cobweb players know Stephanie Cant (pianist, cellist, composer, conductor) who has always been a tremendous supporter of our orchestra. Stephanie now lives in Brighton where there is a lot of orchestral activity, but nothing like Cobwebs, and she would like players in the area to experience a Cobweb-style open access event.

Cobweb players will be joined by local players to have a go at Mahler’s Symphony no. 1 in a study day, with a public presentation to finish, at
Bishop Hannington Church
Hove
East Sussex
BN3 7NS
The timetable for the day will be as follows:

Workshops: 10 am – 12.30 pm and 1.30 pm – 4.30 pm

Shared lunch in the adjacent church lounge

Informal performance: 5.30 – 7 pm

Please sign up as soon as you can so we know how much music to provide.

Please bring a music stand.

Participation Fee for Players

Members of the Cobweb Orchestra: £ 15.00

Non-members: £ 20.00

Students in Full Time Education – half the above prices
