On Saturday 5th October (the 24th anniversary of the start of Cobwebs), a contingent of the orchestra travelled all the way to Hove in East Sussex to play Mahler’s Symphony No. 1. It was a lovely day, with local players joining us to experience a typical Cobweb open access event. Thanks to everyone who turned up to play, and to the audience members who supported the orchestra by listening to our presentation at the end of the day.
Special thanks also to: our conductor, Andy Jackson, for his musical direction, Christine Ball for all of the organisation, everyone at Bishop Hannington Church, who even served teas and coffees to keep us going, and Stephanie Cant, for initiating the idea.
It was yet another hugely successful event. Where next…?
