We welcome Jessica Burroughs (cello section leader of Opera North) to Cobwebs. Explore the expressive depth of Schumann’s Cello Concerto in A minor with its lyrical phrasing, fluid structure, and intimate dialogue between soloist and orchestra.
The work is scored for solo cello, two flutes, two oboes, two clarinets, two bassoons, two horns, two trumpets, timpani, and strings so we’re looking for a full orchestra to accompany Jessica for the afternoon to enjoy this mysterious work.
